Great location and beautivel view! There was contactless checkin but the staff were very nice and reachable over the exspedia app and WhatsApp. The bathroom and kitchen had an off damp smell but was fine if you left the windows open. Thin walls and can hear everything going on in other units.

The good: Very close to the castle wall – literally 4 Or five minutes. Restaurants are also very close. We enjoyed one called book and cook. The unit is clean and easy check-in. The bad: it truly is a bare bones accommodation – for example, don’t expect any soap in the shower and expect the bathroom to be meniscal. Shower water was very difficult to titrate between warm and cold – easy to get scalded. Communication was difficult with the owners until just hours before arriving . Don’t expect any communication or questions before that time to be answered. Once we were in, they were responsive, however.

Perfect location to visit the walls and castle of Obidos. Just a short walk to the main entrance of the walled city. We needed help with silly things, like finding the silverware (drawer was inside another drawer). We had very prompt responses to all our texts to the host. I would definitely stay here again.

Good at first glance, but…
Everything worked out well, the apartment was clean and practical. However, the bathroom is much too small and the kitchen oversized. If you consider the size of the kitchen, you would have expected a dishwasher and washing machine and could have easily accommodated them. This would have been a great help for people traveling around Portugal. There is also an odor problem. Every evening and at night, the apartment smells of the people in the neighboring apartment eating. The exhaust from the two apartments is somehow connected, and so it always smells of food, even if you haven't cooked yourself. Very unpleasant. The bed is also too small for two people and we would have been very happy with a larger bed that would have fit in the room without any problem. Sorry, but there is still room for improvement…

Gîte bien situé
Le gîte était bien situé à cinq minutes du centre historique, mais très calme. Grande cuisine équipée au minimum ! Nous aurions apprécié des fauteuils pour nous asseoir. Endroit très recommandable
