The staff is friendly, though they speak only German, which might be a bit challenging for non-German speakers. "Very nice hotel near the main street. The restaurant was very good with traditional Thuringian food. It looks like the restaurant is used by locals too. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options available. The room was functional and the bathroom seemed newly renovated. The hotel had a sauna, but I didn’t use it."

"I like the hotel, however they have changed some of the things at breakfast: no croissants anymore, no specialty cheeses amongst others, which were two of the highlights for me. and that while pricing is going up the rest was fine"
