4/10 Poor

"We stayed here for a concert, the location was good the staff was super nice and accommodating they let us check in an hour early due to needing to get ready for the concert. While we understood that they were sold out the night prior due to the concert also and rushing to get people checked in, the room was not cleaned properly and i don't think it would have been even if we had checked in at normal time. There were curly black hairs and dirt/dust all over the toilet seat and back of toilet, the floor was freshly mopped so still wet when we went in but because of that you could see that only the main walkway from the door to bathroom was mopped not under desk or between beds, the whole room had a musty smell of either mildew or old cigarette smoke, and the sink area smelled of fish almost like unwashed feminine odor. In addition to all of that the breaker popped from using my hair dryer so we had no power for about 20 minutes while getting ready. The hotel definitely has potential if it was updated a lot it is clearly old and needs work, but the cleanliness issues were pretty gross."

"Firstly, the overnight gentleman with the long ponytail and the older lady who handled breakfast were absolute gems. They were both very kind, attentive, and welcoming. Unfortunately, Room 101 could use some attention. When we first entered, the room had a strong wet dog smell, though it improved after the A/C had been running for a while. The bed on the right side also has a large dent in it, which made it uncomfortable to sleep in since I kept rolling into the dip throughout the night. The shower was the biggest issue and very difficult to manage. The curtain is too short, and the shower lip does not keep the water contained properly. Water hits the curtain and runs onto the floor, flooding the entire bathroom every time someone showers. Additionally, the sitting area with the couch could really use a lamp or some overhead lighting, as the room overall feels very dark. Overall, the staff was excellent and provided great service, but the facility itself was a bit uncomfortable and could use some improvements."

"Our rooms weren't ready until after 4:00 when they clearly state that check-in is 3:00, so we sat in the lobby for over an hour which put us a real bind for the plans we had when we got to town....and we weren't the only ones. On top of that, the girl at the desk had a terrible attitude, was rude, and simply did not care. She told us they only have 1 cleaning crew and there is nothing she can do. That may have been the case, but that is not the problem of your paying guests. Figure it out! We were in town for a concert and booked months ago, as most other guests were that I saw passing through the halls and lobby. So they knew this "rush" was coming and failed to adequately prepare. I will never stay at this place again."

"I got there at check out time and my room wasn't ready, I was told they got a late start and it would be done in 20 minutes, then I went back in and it still wasn't done and was told another 15 minutes. So I went back in and it still wasn't done,csp the lady working at the front desk went and cleaned it herself and then we finally was able to get into our room. We waited an hour and a half to get into our room in the heat. This is unacceptable, the room should have been ready by the time I got there. The girl at the front was doing all the work and was did a great job.our sheets didn't get changed and we're still dirty and the curtain was broken and I had to fix it"

"Room was clean but the pool was absolutely disgusting bugs all in it wasn’t ever cleaned when I was there for 2 1/2 days some of the ice machines were out of order and the parking lot was over crowded at night more cars in the parking lot then people in the hotel rooms, lots of cigarette smokers on the property cigarettes all over the grounds. Beds were extremely hard woke up with back pain pillows were really flat. It’s definitely an old hotel that they tried to renovate. I personally wouldn’t book here again. I was told over a phone call that it was a $50 holding fee when booking but it turned into it being $150 in person when I spoke to a front desk worker. The room lighting was so dull also had different colored light bulbs all over the room. The part where you tap your key at to get in the room was also broken. It was working, but the cover piece was completely broken. Just looks trashy to spend that much and deal with all this. Just not worth what i spent to stay here at all the price doesn’t match the motel."

"We were lucky not to have any issues with overbooking of rooms that other folks did, but elevator didn’t work and we were on the 5th floor (24 weeks pregnant). Also, 10am in the morning a maintenance man just let himself into the room! We weren’t checked out yet and he just barged right in! Usually have good luck with LaQuinta but this want good in multiple ways."
