"I booked two rooms and one of the rooms had non-working A/C and a back door to a common veranda that wasn't possible to lock. The management promised to refund the room but no refund was made. Hotels.com told me the property refused to refund. They had washer and dryers that automatically shut off at night making it impossible to open up the washer door to retrieve your clothes - the door was locked as the program wasn't finished. When I tried to call them for support, I got no answers. Location...

"Wir haben uns dort wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber. Das Mobiliar etwas überaltert, aber gemütlich. Die Vermieterin spricht deutsch und ist um das Wohlbefinden der Gäste sehr bemüht. Wir waren nur für eine Nacht da, wenn man aber als Selbstversorger mit Familie sich dort aufhalten möchte, ist die Küche großzügig ausgestattet."

"Great opportunity to sleep in a castle. Nice room with antiques and nice piece of furniture. Overall, a great place to stay although the church's bell played all night long. Breakfast was nice, but a bit early due to an unexpected commitment (of the manager). "

"We were two couples traveling together and we had this place to ourselves, it was like our private estate, loaded with beautiful antiques it is an old winery estate house, its in a fairly remote small town on a hill surrounded by grapes.Great views from the rooftop patio,, its not much to look at from outside the gate but inside, wow. we loved it, thanks very much for your kind hospitality Daniela."

"Die Einrichtung aber auch die Funktionallität lassen keinerlei Beanstandungen zu. Sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Zimmer, freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Durch die Lage etwas abseits und sehr ländlich. Dies ist jedoch kein Minuspunkt. Allerdings war die Mückenplage mehr als eine Zumutung. An diesem Punkt wären mehr präventive Massnahmen gefragt."

"The hotel is somewhat hard to find is you are not coming from the south on SS10. Do not follow GPS up the hill on the winding road. It is at the bottom of the hill below where GPS sends you."
