Lost Colony III 221 is a quaint, bayside condominium. This two-bedroom, two bathroom, 2nd-floor walk up condo is located in the north side area of Ocean City.

The living room is furnished with two sofas and a television. The larger sofa doubles as a queen-size sleeper for extra guests. A small dining table with 4 chairs is next to the fully-stocked kitchen with an island countertop and stools. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, television, and a private full-size bathroom with walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed with a full-size bathroom located in the hallway. This property comfortably sleeps up to six people.

Unit 221 Lost Colony has the following amenities: central air/heat, two TVs with cable, free WiFi, stack washer and dryer, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, stove, disposal, and a dishwasher. The building amenities provided are one assigned parking space and an outdoor pool.

The picture need updated. the place needs updates. Cleaners need to make sure the place is vacuumed good. That is after they get a good vacuum that works well. It would be nice to have a map to know where the condo is that you're staying at. It doesn't say where the pool is you just have to walk around the place and find it.

Great Location, could use updating/maintenance

Overall the stay was quite nice and a great price for the area. If a few things were addressed we would definitely book again. Here is the break down of the experience! :) Pros: The property was clean, very close to the beach and a 5 minute walk to the Waterpark and Fenwick Boardwalk. It's a very nice area of Ocean City at a great price. Refrigerator and microwave are new. Newer faucets and shower heads were great. Washer and dryer worked great for quick loads. Cons: It seems as though if the owners stayed there for a couple weeks, they've have a better impression of things that needed addressing. Mattress should be replaced ASAP as they were not pleasant to sleep on. Clocks didn't have batteries and the smoke detector was sitting with no battery on the table when we came in. In the Kitchen, one of the stools wasn't completely attached, missing 2 screws and the outlets (everywhere) were very loose and barely held our chargers. The original stove elements are very crooked and could be dangerous to use and cookware, dishes, and utensils are a very old hodge-podge of different overused items that have been there forever or potentially left by tenants in very rough shape. In the master bedroom, the master bath plug was upside down so we couldn't plug in a hairdryer and the inner shower curtain was missing so I had to walk to the hardware store to buy one. The balcony is off the bedroom and the newer sliding door does not seem to seal in the middle when shut, so it is quite loud when the A/C is on. I realize this is a lot of constructive criticism, but as I said, overall it was a great stay, we think updating a few things and doing some maintenance would really make it much more comfortable. We did have a great week! Thank you!! :)

Had low expectations

I'm not really a bad review person, but I felt my expectations were realistic for this place. I was really just looking for a clean spot to sleep and cook dinner since our days were meant to be spent on the beach. I didn't really care that the place was dated. We paid for linens (sheets and towels) which were delivered. The listing stated that there were blankets and pillows, but there were no blankets. The reservation said it slept 6, but they provided pillows for 4. The stocked kitchen had random odds and ends and broken utensils. So if you actually wanted to cook something, good luck. There were lamps that didn't work. There was random junk in all the closets including filthy used underwear, crutches, and old tube tvs. I am not optimistic that it was cleaned well at all. Every mattress was also awfully uncomfortable, keep in mind I spend a week sleeping on the ground when camping. That was significantly better sleeping than there. Positives note: close to the beach, close to the bar, good AC, the rental office staff were very kind and apologetic. They bought us blankets and pillows for the second night.

Quick stay

Nice spot that allowed a midweek - 3 night stay. A little worn and dated. Form followed function but overall, pleasant stay in a space that had what we needed.

Do not stay here. Unclean, bug infested and outdated

Property was unclean at check in. Vomit on floor in kitchen and hair on floor in bathrooms. Carpets are stained and furniture is broken and stained. Property is infested with stinging ants. Television only has one channel. Kitchen is suboptimal and not equipped with needed pieces to actually cook. Ice machine is broken. No blinds in master bedroom. We had booked two weeks but couldn’t even stay for one as it was so gross and we were all bitten up by bugs and sick from the pesticide spray that was provided as a “solution” to the infestation. This place needs a major update, cleaning, and an exterminator. Terrible value and awful for families looking to relax and have a clean place to stay with children.

Not a bad place for a weekend getaway.

Place definitely could use some up grates. Sink was clogged, air conditioner took a long time cool the place down, carper is old, place is very dusty. But for a weekend get away it us not a bad place.

Great Location

Great location to the beach. Could use some updates I am glad we brought our own bedding and pillows, half the outlets don’t work and a couple are hanging out of the wall. The pull out sofa is broke at the bottom. Couple times had trouble with getting warm water in the showers other times scolding hot. Nice having a washer and dryer and balcony. Overall not a bad place to stay and great location.
