We spent three weeks at Karen’s place. She was very helpful and everything went smoothly. The neighbor hood is very quiet but also walking distance to the shops. The beds and linens were clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and there is aber
Karen's place was situated perfectly for us. Not right in the middle of the busyness of Ocean Grove but only a 10 min walk to shops and 15-20 to the main beach. House was clean and really well set up for teens and parents with a well stocked kitchen and nice garden and decking to enjoy the outdoors.
A wonderful relaxing 1 week stay in Ocean Grove to recharge after a busy year for grandparents, daughter and 3 yo granddaughter. Close enough to Melbourne for extended family to drop in for a night, Ocean Grove shopping village a 15min walk away and 10min walk to children's playground and Blue Lake walking circuit. Visited local pool, Barwon Heads beach and Geelong durung our stay. House was open and breezy looking out to BBQ deck and lovely cottage garden.Kitchen had all requirements with a full supply of kitchen and laundry supplies and cleaners to maintain durung the week.Thankyou to Karen for welcoming and sharing your homely "home" with us. Definitely on the radar for return visits.

Spacious and relaxing
We found The House of Chill an excellent place to stay for a long weekend: quiet, an easy drive to the beach or restaurants and well-equipped. The large garden was fun for games of hide and seek! Karen is a responsive and thoughtful owner, and even offered us a late checkout since no one was coming in the night we left. Highly recommended.

Spacious and relaxing
The House of Chill is aptly named. A spaciously designed house with stylish furnishings and great art work! The house and garden alike have comfortable relaxation zones. Big windows let in lots of natural light and make the living areas come alive at different times of the day. We really enjoyed our stay (it was too short) and look forward to returning again soon.
Super clean & well presented. Nice spaces to spread out, gardens to relax/play in. Well equipped kitchen, we had Xmas lunch here was a great place to be together. Will come again
This property is better up close than the online listing leads you to believe. It is open, light, airy and beautifully tasteful. It's setting is lovely in that it looks across to the lake which is a favourite for bird life in the area. The Magpies visiting daily for a bit of mince was an absolute highlight. The property also has a lot more utensils and appliances in the kitchen than most properties we've stayed at which makes it fabulous if you like to cook sometimes while away. Overall, it's a lovely place to stay with a very welcoming owner to tell you how to get the best from it.
We feel so blessed to have enjoyed the creative & vibrant energy of your home.
It was total bliss as we appreciated the art and natural elements which like a magic tapestry were beautifully interwoven.
Would definitely stay again as your home brings peace to souls that explore it.
Our stay was so relaxing. Most nights spent enjoying BBQs on the spacious deck and our dog loved the established garden with plenty of shade. Plenty of living areas for kids and adults to have their own space. highly recommended
Karen was a fantastic host.
We had a very relaxing weekend stay. House is close to the lake so we enjoyed the view and walks around the perimeter. Karen was a pleasure to deal with. Will definitely come back again.
Perfect location and accommodation for a family holiday. Plenty of space and a lovely backyard, close to beach and amenities.

Private and Spacious
This property boasts privacy and space with two large living areas, large bedrooms and great entertaining outdoor area. We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend stay and would not hesitate to book this house again. The upstairs loft bedroom has amazing views of the river. Lovely gardens surround with a view from each window, we even had a little possum visit us among the vines. The decking with large table and seating was perfect for BBQ dinners. Thank you Karen for a memorable stay.

Chill indeed!
What a fabulous house! The House of Chill had all we needed for a girls weekend away with a baby on board too. An easy walk into town and the beach; glorious outdoor setting to dine and watch the sunset and great modern appliances at hand. Communication with Karen was easy and she was happy to help in any way she could. We will definitely be back :)

Spacious and relaxing
This open and spacious house was a welcoming retreat after a swim in the surf or exploring local sites. The well-appointed kitchen was a pleasure to cook in and we ate on the large balcony under a shady umbrella most meals. Bedding and towels were of top quality, and welcoming touches of flowers and wine were most appreciated. Large generous couches made relaxing with a book a pleasure. There were places and spaces inside and out for kids to do their own thing. Cool breezes and waking up to mornings full of birdsong were fun. An easy walk to shops.

Excellent property near the beach
We had a great stay - massive property with multiple living areas; would be good for both big and small groups along with extended families etc.
Kitchen was a a real highlight - very well laid out, spacious and well equipped plus a huge bench to prep on.
Another plus is the abundance of outdoor spaces along with great furniture to kick back on a sunny day.
Close to Ocean Grove / shops / beaches etc. - will definitely be returning. Thank you for the stay!!!

5-Star stay!
We had a wonderful time at this house! It felt like a 5-Star luxury home, fitted out with everything we needed. Karen was very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. The house can accommodate different families with the option of having time together or separately. Great location near the shops and beach.
