"Only issue I had was with the heat in the room. The thermostat on the wall has no control over the actual heater in the room. There are thorough instructions at the thermostat on how to turn on the heater, however, those don't make any impact to the actual heater itself. The maintenance man came while we were out and turned on the heater at the fireplace itself, and turned it to high. When we returned to the room it had already reached a temperature of 85 degrees in the room. Because the thermostat doesn't' control anything, I had no way of turning down the heat. I opened the door to the deck to cool it off, but it just kept getting hotter. I called front desk again, but everyone had gone home for the evening. I contacted the after hours security, who came to my room, shut off the fireplace, and shut off the gas line, as there didn't appear to be any way to turn down the heat. Not sure why there are such detailed instructions on how to use the fireplace, if the thermostat has nothing to do with the fireplace."

"Clean rooms, friendly staff and great view from the 3rd floor. Fridge and microwave was a plus. The only down side was it was really warm in the room because of no air conditioner but we survived. Would stay again. "

"Nice updated room. Could use more towel bars. Breakfast was not great and no place to sit to eat. We had to take everything back to our room. The complimentary salmon chowder at 5pm was nice."
