Good location, Close to beach and restaurants. There were electric bikes around the corner. I was confused about parking as I thought it’d we inside the compound. I felt safe, I had no safety concerns. I would suggest fragrance as it smelt stale upon entry every time we entered, places to hang towels to dry. And window coverings or curtains in case someone wanted it for the bathroom area. Overall I would definitely stay again!

Great cabin! It was nice, very clean and modern. However, here are the negatives. The access code that I was given didn't work and had to call customer service, WiFi was out (tech did come fix it), a lot of windows on the cabin and the sun shines bright like a diamond, very noisy. Can hear the outside music, noise next door and on the street. If you are a light sleeper this is not the place for you.

We really enjoyed our stay, but the place is starting to feel a little tired. The rooms need a good cleaning (especially the floors) and fresh paint. The bathroom counters were sagging and the sink needed to be recaulked. It didn’t seem like it would take much to get everything back up to standard but it’s definitely time for a refresh.

I have been wanting to stay here since it was built and finally booked a night for our anniversary. To say I’m in love with the Beatnik is an understatement! It was too cold to enjoy the pool (but it’s heated) or the screened in porch or the outdoor shower or hammock BUT I still loved it. The cabin was decorated beautifully and had everything we needed for our stay. It was immaculately clean. Communication was excellent, check-in was easy. Restaurants within walking distance, beach just a short ride away. There is a train track nearby but it didn’t bother us - they do provide ear plugs! I have zero complaints and will be back in warmer weather!

Please be aware that this place will only allow to check in after 4 PM. If you choose to do an early check-in, they can work with you but know that you need to keep constantly contacting the host in order for them to give you a code to check in. The water in the pool look green so I did not get in. Overall the inside of the facility it’s decent.
