This spacious canal front home is located in the Oyster Creek neighborhood on Ocracoke Island. Hammock View provides a private boat dock with easy access to Pamlico Sound. Enjoy family dinners around the large dining room table and relax afterword on the screened-in porch. The living room on the first floor and the sitting area on the second floor offer options for your family to gather and unwind.

3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths: Two Bedrooms each with a Queen. One with Two Double beds. Both baths have a tub/shower.

Amenities include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, complimentary wireless internet access, and 2 satellite TVs. Washer and dryer in ground level laundry shed.

The exterior includes private boat dockage, bulkhead, a screened porch, hot/cold outdoor shower, park style charcoal grill, fish cleaning bench and private storage room for beach gear.

*This home does not provide linens.

Short Stays are available; there is a three-night minimum, and these stays can be booked within two weeks of arrival.

Great location for boating — we launched at the ferry dock and it was only about a 10-minute ride back to the house. We fished all weekend and found the place clean and comfortable. Check-in and check-out were straightforward. It’s a no-frills, practical home with a well-stocked kitchen (pots, pans, plates, etc.), perfect for a relaxed, activity-focused stay.

We loved Hammock View. The dock was great for the boat we rented. Plenty of room for our family. The only thing this house needs are more chairs! There were two uncomfortable chairs in the screened in porch and no chairs on the upper deck. The chairs in the dock area are in very poor condition. We are very much looking forward to next summer! The communication from OIR is excellent!

The location was great for our ocean boat - having access right to the sound in awesome! The house was nice, a little less extravagant and more basic than what we have rented in the past bc we were looking for 2 weeks, water-front and pet friendly, but the price was great for those features. The kitchen was limited as to what we are used to as far as small appliances and cooking essentials - measuring cups/bowls/etc., but we made do. The second story deck was a little sketchy with the railing, not to code, but it also lacked chairs so while I would have loved to sit out there more, I didn't want to have to drag chairs up and down. The screened porch needs some waterproofing - but it's nice to have that little area that is screened due to squitors! The washer/dryer are downstairs in a shed under the house; it wasn't shown in the pics, so just for future renters to know there is one. The under house area is good for keeping coolers, bikes, etc. The dock had everything we needed, but the chairs need so
