Property was absolutely stunning our host, Rebecca was so so lovely and couldnt have been more welcoming. We will 100% be coming back for another family weekend soon. "

"I spent the most wonderful week at Little Lemhill Farm Cottage. The cottage is on a beautiful Cotswold farm, that is surrounded by beautiful gardens, trees and a pond. It's very quiet and relaxing. The cottage is beautifully decorated and comfortable, with the most heavenly beds and linens. Melanie is a wonderful, welcoming host, who provided a very helpful welcome book, chock full of great recommendations for restaurants and tips for the local areas. Her recommendations were spot on. "Lovely, cosy cottage. One bedroom and the spacious bathroom is on the ground floor so avoiding a steep narrow staircase leading to the remaining bedrooms.Very peaceful surroundings and beds and bedding of excellent quality so we all slept soundly"

"A lovely cottage with history and character. As mentioned in the listings it would not be suitable for someone very tall or with difficulties. Facilities are excellent everything you need supplied. Parking is free but beware spaces can be all taken - it states 23 hours stay - no return for an hour, so be aware there is a car park attendant around! Cottage is within easy reach of the town and Abbey. A lovely stay"

"Recommend the property unreservedly but suggest you book directly through cottages.com as that is where Vrbo will throw you anyway. The Vrbo system was a massive let down and caused a great deal of stress with confirmation of the booking. Give them a wide berth but enjoy thi ssuper property if you can."

"Really lovely house for our family including our son in a wheelchair. Lots of fun to be had in the house with the xbox and table football and plenty of outside activities, pool, walks, trampoline and cycling."

The Hare and Hounds at Speen, Newbury

"Enjoyed a wonderful overnight stay at The Hare and Hounds. Our room was The Fox, the room and furnishings were superb. The bar and restaurant are in the main building. Speen is an area just outside Newbury, with easy access to the town if required. Ample free car parking provided. Recommended as we found it to be of a very high standard."

Holiday Inn Express Swindon - West by IHG

Great for a stopover

"Checked in late but wasn't a problem. Friendly staff. Had asked for ground floor but was on 2nd (it luckily had a lift). Bed tiny but overall rom was good. Clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Breakfast was nice. Would stay again."
