A comfortable and warm stay

We had a one night stay at this motel. The room was very comfortable and warm. It was just a shame there was no kettle or tea and coffee in the room. A bit of a pain having to walk around to the shared kitchen every time you wanted a drink. There was ample free parking and the room was quiet. The motel was pretty much in the centre of town and very walkable to everywhere.

Clean but not exactly worth the money

Very clean and very new. However, very small and doesn’t have essentials like a wardrobe to hang up your clothes. Basically living in a cabin but paying motel-hotel kind of prices.

Good Option for a Night or Two

Booked a cabin with kitchenette and bathroom. It was as shown on the website and described by others - very small but fine for an overnight stay and reflected in the price paid. The location is excellent, easy to walk around the town from there. The cabin was at the back of the property so no road noise overnight. We booked a hot tub but that was a very disappointing experience - the water was warm not hot and describing them as part of a day spa oversells what you get in reality - outdoor, some screening but a path used by guests right beside it and able to see in. Not recommended. Great onsite restaurant, enjoyed a couple of small plates there.

Pros and Cons - clean and convenient

Clean, tidy and comfortable enough for a short stay, and very convenient to everything. However at the price I would expect the ensuite room to have its own fridge, jug and tea & coffee, but it did not have any of these. These were available in the shared access kitchen, dining, lounge area, but a single refrigerator for many rooms & people is never going to work well. As the place also has hostel / backpacker style shared accommodation, you can’t leave your own milk, bread, butter, or drinks in a shared fridge or cupboard and expect them to be left unused by others.

Room was one of the cabins. Basically a metal box that a room was made of. No closet. No place to hang anything up. Heater small for room and took a while to heat the space. The hotel is in a great location. Walkable to many restaurants.
