"Pros: Wir sind sehr freundlich aufgenommen worden von unseren Vermietern, sie waren sehr offen und wir konnten uns zu jeder Zeit bei ihnen melden, wenn wir fragen oder Probleme hatten. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und auch sehr gut ausgestattet. Können es nur jeden weiterempfehlen. Die Lage ist in einem kleinen Dörfchen und sehr ruhig. Es gibt sehr schöne Radwege, die schon fast vor der Türe anfangen."

"Pros: Die Wohnung war genauso, wie beschrieben. Sehr liebevoll und hochwertig eingerichtet. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Von Vorteil war die Klimaanlage. Das Bad hat eine Dusche sowie auch Badewanne. Es ist alles sehr sauber. Vom Vermieter wurden wir sehr nett empfangen und durch die Wohnung geführt. Zwischendurch erkundigte er sich, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Auch die Eltern, die im Erdgeschoss leben, sind sehr freundlich. Sehr gerne wieder!"

"Pros: Die obere Etage ist im Grunde eine zweite Wohnung (ohne Küche), die sich somit sehr gut für einen gemeinsamen Urlaub von Freunden oder mit größeren Kindern eignet. Von dort hat man einen schönen Blick Richtung Wasser. Die Wohnung (Küche und Bad) sind gut ausgestattet. Der Check-in war unkompliziert und wurde mittags von meinen Eltern vorgenommen, da wir erst sehr spät anreisen konnten. Hier gab es eine kleine Führung über den Hof. Auch der kleine Hofladen bietet tolle eigene Produkte. ...

"This hotel is in a great location across from the train station and near the older, pedestrianized part of Winterthur. The room is spacious and clean. There are also some common spaces. Free coffee machine always available and juice is a bonus. Decent breakfast."

"Breakfast is included and compared to included breakfast at other hotels it is oustanding. Lot's of great choices. Our room was on the small side, but it had a very nice shower. Everything was clean and in great condition. There is a bus stop on the street right in front of the hotel, which takes you directly to downtown Konstanz. Bus fares are included with your stay."

"My family and I stayed here for 7 days and made it as our base for our Switzerland trip. I could not have been more happy staying at this hotel. We stayed at the family room where it has A/C and to top it off there is a fan in the room which we used to circulate the air. Mind you, we were here in July - the middle of summer heat. Common complain I read is the noise of train passing by - but, the room seem to have been improved with double pane windows which helped reduced the noise significantly. I barely heard the train and slept vey well after a long adventure. Highlight is just the included breakfast with so much selections! The cleanliness of the room and the nicest staff I have ever encountered in Europe. The gentleman at the buffet greets you with enthusiasm every morning, ask you if you slept well and takes care of every guest that comes in to eat. Oh man and the cheese they have there are outstanding! And! Winterthur is just a charming place with a nice old town you can walk around, not to mention you’re just 5-8 min walk to the station. I love love my stay at Hotel Banana City. One of best stay I’ve had in Europe."

"A beautiful old hotel in the heart of the pedestrian part of the town. You do have to walk up a steep hill or many steps though if you go down to the lake! My only criticism would be there is absolutely no fresh air in the bedroom, I realise it's an old hotel so I'm not sure how you would change that..... The car parking is also a bit of a walk from the hotel, but you can unload before going to the parking area."
