"Terrific little historic hotel with a lot of vintage charm. Right downtown -- walking distance to the river, nearby casinos, and (in our case) the Mudbug Madness Festival. The staff was particularly warm and inviting -- offering terrific local advise and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. This place should be on your radar screen when visiting Shreveport!"

"The 1st thing you notice when you drive up is all the parking space, the beautiful landscape and cute wooden bridge. When you open the front door...lets just say the pictures do not do justice to how gorgeous the inside of the house is. The wide open layout gave us so much room to enjoy ourselves. Everything you need from cooking, to laundry..to showering is all there. They have thought of everything for their guests. The game room was perfect for the teenagers to hang out and have their own space and the upstairs balcony gives you an amazing view of the water, backyard and pool. The backyard has a large patio that leads to the pool with plenty of seatingto sit back and relax. The pool was so refreshing the last few days that were hot."
