"Room was straight out of a horror movie It smelled like stale cigarettes, bathroom had hair shavings, keep your shoes on as the rug was disgusting. The door locked but was not tight so I slide a chair to lock it and the dresser. Slept with one eye open"

"Room was FILTHY. No smoke alarm. Room did not have a working phone or TV. WiFi wouldn’t work. Food from someone else left in the fridge in the room. We couldn’t even take our shoes off. Our daughter did and her feet were black from the floor. No hot water in the sink. It was TERRIBLE."

"Everything was good. Lobby is too busy all the time and staff was not welcoming which downgrades the hotel to not that great stay!"

"Comfort Inn&Suites at Ashland Virginia, NORTH RICHMOND was the Excellent stay away from home. Great Understanding, Caring Staff those seen and unseen. There was an extra comfortable stay, all the Staff seemed to have gone the extra mild of the way without being asked, and I just want to "THANK YOU ALL EVERYONE 🙂💯"."

"Parking is free in an open parking lot and YOU are responsible for your own car’s safety and security. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and happy, which was a very nice surprise. I only stayed 1 night so I can say the room was very clean, bathroom was nice and clean there’s a microwave and fridge but the fridge didn’t have any power maybe a fuse needs to be checked but the large TV and microwave worked fine, shower runs great and is well renovated and the room looks just as pictured....

"Ok, for the price I paid. From the outside it looked good, but the lobby and my room could definitely use an update, or at least painted. Great towels though!!! Not that this is terribly important but there was hardly any snacks at the cafe, very disappointing since I had traveled all day."
