"We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay!! Dennis at the front desk was very helpful & accommodating when we asked to extend our stay! We loved the location! It was so convenient to walk to Playa Venao but far enough away to have quiet evenings. We enjoyed the pool too!! The view with the island right across from the beach was amazing! The staff provided excellent service. We look forward to returning soon!"

Not my first time here and o always return to this little resort with the super comfortable rooms and suits viewing the ocean from a cliff, private beach, pool and open jacuzzi , fine restaurant and good breakfast, great positive and welcoming team. "Our stay in Alaya was the perfect getaway from our good Canadian winters. The dome was a beautiful experience and made for a very romantic stay when relaxing under the stars on the suspended net before jumping in our private hot tub. The space was incredibly clean and the staff was always ready to help. The restaurant had a farm to table concept (they have their own permaculture farm on the land) and was beyond our expectations, not to mention the breathtaking view of the valleys and the ocean while you enjoy your meal. Their designated work space allowed us to log in comfortably and reliably connect the few times that we needed to. If your are looking to connect with yourself, your partner or even alongside other humans we highly recommend inquiring about Alaya’s spiritual services as well. A very special treat in a very special part of the country."

"The best place to stay in Playa Venao. The pool and hot tub overlook the beach and sunset. The room was very comfortable. The staff are friendly. Great for families with kids. The restaurant had generous portions. It’s steps away from surfing. I have been staying there for years and I highly recommend it."

"Stayed in the "Bobby". Very happy with staff and accommodations. Outdoor pool was a nice change of pace. Great walks on beach exploring. Included breakfast was wonderful on the patio in front of the restaurant. A bit of trouble getting into resort as it is gated and needed a pin code, but once we got in, friendly staff greeted us. "

"Playa Venao is an incredible beach that does not insist you surf! Great location. (be aware that google maps will take you to the wrong hotel, if that happens, ask around for directions) Room was comfortable, outdoor pool was great. Close to many great restaurants."
