Hiroshima Airport Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The morning meals were excellent. I did not attempt to try to bar. I did only stay at the hotel when I landed and took off from the airport, but I do know the next time I come to Japan this will probably be the hotel. I stay at the whole time and it’s conveniently located and is within a 40 minute to an hour drive to where I needed to go and some places that I should’ve went. The staff is amazing very respectful very helpful and very understanding. I will definitely come back to this hotel again when I visit Japan."

"This was the middle hotel on our 75 km Shimanami bike ride and we arrived very hot and tired. The room was not ready for us, but the staff happily took our bags so we could enjoy the town while the room was being prepared. Once we arrived in it, the room was a beautiful newly constructed all wood artsy dream place. Comfortable bed, beautiful, bathing facilities, and a woodfired restaurant downstairs that gave us an amazing meal, coincidentally with several members of the friendly staff whose company we really enjoyed. The hotel is very conveniently located in the middle of a beautiful island town with simple access to other restaurants, museums, and temples, shopping and a wonderful sunset beach Next time we do this ride, there is no doubt we will be staying here"

"The hotel was nice! There were no staff, but it was easy to check in on the tablet by the front. The room was very small but inexpensive. Also there is no bathroom in the room but the amenities outside of the room were clean."

Toyoko Inn Higashi Hiroshima Saijo Station

"This location is right next to Saijo station - an excellent place to stay with quick access to Sakagura street to visit all of the sake breweries. My only complaint is there’s only one elevator for the whole hotel so for events like the Saijo Sake Matsuri it takes a long time to get to and from your room, and the breakfast area becomes very crowded. they do have a washer and dryer which I used twice very convenient very efficient. The coffee maker was broken for two of the three days I stayed so that was a bummer. I wish they could’ve given everyone ¥200 to go to the 7-Eleven for coffee or just brew it in the kitchen!"
