The hotel was at an unbeatable price for our one night stay. Though it’s a no frills hotel with halls and an elevator that’s a bit dated, the room was clean and sufficient. Staff kindly held our bags before and after check-in. The hotel is about a 10 minutes walk across the street from the Okayama Stn. There’s lots of restaurants in the surrounding areas, as well as a Takashimaya, Don Quijote and Aeon mall also about 10 mins walk or so. Looks to be surrounded by izakayas, bars and hostess-type/themed bars in the immediate area. We traveled in the work week so the noise wasn’t an issue.

We had three beds and our room was big. Staff was nice. Hotel is clean. Hamburger place was delicious. Only small thing that i was initially concerned about, but ended up with zero impact other than a few laughs, were the men's girly bars across the street.

Good location

The room is clean and comfortable. However, we booked two rooms and the staff didn't arrange them on the same floor for us.

Right next to the main hub of Okayama and it's train station. Great spot to see the local area and serve as a handy base for all the day trips.

Bathroom flooded every day. Couldn’t tell if it was the bath or aircon outlet (which the lovely reception guy said), but every time we took a bath there’d be a few centimetres of water on the bathroom floor. Cleared pretty quickly. Still a bit annoying. Hotel is in a great location, close to train station / tram stops / shopping mall. Breakfast buffet standard but reliable. Staff very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

The one worry is across the street matador if you go out avoid if late at night. Sometimes (foreigners) can be drunk and try to fight with people unsure if it is staff or just a one off
