"Sort of a boutique hotel, maybe four floors. Self check in was easy. They answer the phone if you call. The room was big for Japan. Great bed. Very clean and new. "

"The property seems to be recently updated, it is modern, and clean. The amenity is lacking a few things (for example, it tells the guest to wash dishes and put them away but doesn’t provide a clothe to dry them). Also, the instruction isn’t super clear. The instruction reads to leave the key on the table when checking out (that’s what it says literary in English), when in fact you need to lock and put the key in the lockbox as one example. Also the road to access the property is quite narrow...

"This is a very nice traditional Japanese hotel. You must take off your shoes and put them in lockers before you head over to your room. You can take them up to your room but just not wearing them. Our experience with the staff was very warm and welcoming. There is a dinning area on the first floor and when we arrived they were serving free bowls of ramen to the guests. It hit the spot for our first night! I expected the rooms to be small but honestly our room felt quite spacious. Maybe because we had two beds. They also provided comfortable pijamas. Overall the hotel had a calm and relaxing environment so it is a perfect place to come rest up. Very pleased with our stay and highly recommend. "

"I am still unsure how this accommodation is 3-star! It would be 4.5 star is Australia. I could not fault it. The top floor bar was so beautiful - we spent each night in this space having drinks and substantial bar snacks - beautiful night time view. Comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms! The rooms were small but you know that when you are booking. Given you are not in your room much when you are travelling this is not an issue., especially with 5 other communal spaces in the hotel. I never leave reviews but I would highly recommend staying here!"
