"Beds are super hard was unable to sleep. Plus I had some sort of alergic reaction to something in the room in this Route Inn and are previous stay at Lake Kagoshima.I dont normally suffer from allergies and I dont have Asthma but as soon as i layed down I got all stuffed up and had issues breathing when trying to sleep. Perhaps its a cleaning product they are using or the contents of the pillows unsure but that has never happened before both places I stayed for 1 night only. it was strange so...

The breakfast option was extraordinary, a private banquet of traditional Japanese dishes. The hot spring is beautiful, a rock pool flowing with healing water, always available. It is right on the Hida River which brings a soft tranquility. The walk into town is short, 15 or 20 minutes brings you to the center of town, with many dining options, temples and shrines. "There's staff to welcome and orientate us upon arrival. And since it's a large hotel with 3 buildings, the staff briefed us and walked us to the building where our room was. Nice breakfast and we have 3 onsens to choose from! It's also conveniently located within walking distance or a short drive to the main sights at Gero. "
