The owners were friendly and very accommodating - providing recommendations for dinner and things to do. Garai is a lovely village and has two magnificent restaurants within a 10 minute walk, ideal for the tasting menu with accompanying wines. A little fitness is needed as the walk up to the hotel from the car park is quite strenuous and there are a few flights of stairs if you are in one of the upper rooms.
