5/5 Excellent
"Beautiful and historic building with excellent rooms. The art galleries in the hotel were a fun to tour even if not all the art was to my taste. The Savoy restaurant in the hotel served me one of the best steaks and cocktails I have ever had, but it was appropriately very expensive. I would recommend the hotel and restaurant to everyone, and although you should expect to pay a pretty penny, I believe the experience and food is worth it at least to try once.
The area in the city is very nice and well kept for the most part. The hotel has a very big city vibe to it, which is a nice aesthetic. However, it does have the negatives of being in the city. Car alarms and lot of noise throughout the night, but that is not something the hotel can control. Just take this into account when booking any hotel in the middle of a city.
The only thing that actually upset me was the parking. It is $40/night for parking if you pay the hotel and I believe this includes valet. I chose to park in the ramp that was conveniently right across the street. The rate for this ramp is absurd. You must prepay $10 for 24 hours EVERYTIME you enter the ramp. If you leave and come back before the 24 hours you prepaid for, you will need to prepay another $10, even if you were only gone for 15 minutes. This isn't something the hotel can control but it was a pain.
Overall 9/10, but if you only account for things the hotel can control, then 10/10."
