"Clean room, lots of free parking, great location in heart of town and beneath Montgomery Castle. The staff were lovely, food was excellent with priority on using local ingredients and beer and wine. Superb value for money as well. Would not hesitate to return to The Dragon Hotel in future!"

Every room is thoughtfully styled, spotlessly clean, and incredibly cosy – you can really tell how much care has gone into creating such a relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast was fantastic, with high-quality ingredients and plenty of choice to start the day right. Combined with the peaceful surroundings, it made for a truly memorable stay. "Over priced and under delivered. Staff were nice tbf, room was £130 + £15 for our dog well over priced for location and quality, no discount for eating in restaurant prices compared to hotel in major city centres, I travel a lot for work and know! Only continental breakfast included absolute joke. Dinner in restaurant again poor Pad Thai must have been left on pass chicken and prawns dry sauce way to thick again dried out. Then told while relaxing with friends hadn’t seen for 5 years to leave at 9.30 and got to bed, ridiculous "

"We had a lovely stay in The Ramparts. The house was amazing, with beautiful views, mearby shops and walks in a lovely little village. We had everything we needed, the information provided was very good, access into the property was clear after booking. We loved it and would book again."

"Extremely pleasant and accommodating staff. Room was clean and warm as was the en-suite. Bed was very comfortable. Plenty of various tea and coffee sachets available in addition to milks and sweeteners etc. Breakfast was freshly cooked to liking. Although I had no problem parking, the car park is small with limited street parking opposite, which potentially could be an issue during busy periods. Overall, staying at The Talbot was an excellent experience. "
