"Lovely one night stop over at the Old Vine. We arrived on a sinday and decided to have a sunday roast in the restaurant. Highly recommended the restaurant, food and service was great. Staff are all very knowledgeable, friendly and polite. We were shown up to our room and was supprised at how big it was. "Stayed two nights for a long weekend, perched on the edge of Highclere Castle for our visit. Quite close to the A34, but even though our room was on that side we had no traffic noise. Nice little room upstairs in the cottage next door. Breakfast was included and that was excellent. Also had two evening meals, sample photos attached. Chef is very talented. Would happily return."
