Bellavista Country Estate is wonderful for special events, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays etc with private chefs, professional caterers and full event planning available. We'll work with you to design your "perfect memories". *(Please note that events do incur additional fees, and due to liability and town/property regulations, all event details must be discussed separately. Only overnight stays are booked via VRBO, not events of any size. Thank you for understanding.)

Outdoor Activities Year-Round!
Surrounded by rolling fields, manicured lawns, forest, pastures and miles of hiking trails, you don't really need to leave the property. But if you do decide to go "off-campus", you'll be amazed at how many attractions and destinations are located nearby!
Visit the beautiful 180 acre public land conservancy with its 35 acre pond and beautiful views of the Catskills, only 1 minute drive from the estate. The scenic pond is perfect for fishing or kayaking.
We're also within walking distance to the only indoor tennis facility in the area with three courts -- two hard and one soft Har-Tru.

BBQ and picnic on the brick inlaid patios next to the in-ground L shaped pool, surrounded by beautiful perennial gardens. Relax in the shade of the screened in porch. Hike or ride on the miles of Hunt Club trails, winding through the estate's private 60 acres.

Several fine golf courses, or drop your canoe in many lakes, ponds and rivers all just minutes away. There are five (5) nearby ski resorts which offer year round activities, including skiing, snow tubing, zip lines, rock climbing walls, water slides, miniature golf and more!

Our local, historical village of Chatham, founded in 1795, is charming, with its own award winning craft beer brewery, a gourmet cheese shop, landmarked movie theater with first run films, bookshop, fun, eclectic gift shop and good restaurants, cafes, bakeries and more.

Wonderful healthy, fresh berry, vegetable and fruit at the many nearby farms throughout the area. Pick your own, or purchase at local farm stands. Farmer's Markets are plentiful!
