"It’s in a good location, but the walk to the aquarium is further than I anticipated from their write up. The room felt dated and cheap. Repairs to the walls look like they were done by a child. The furniture is older and banged up. It did not feel special in any way. In my experience, I would compare it more to a budget motel than a nice hotel in Monterey. I would choose somewhere different next time."

"Black mold was growing in bathroom, coffee maker not working, causing water to spill all over. Iron broke and not functional. Carpet was very dirty. Breakfast was average and not restocked once the popular items were gone. Love the location, but the hotel needs major improvement. "

And also they communicated well before checking in :) However, no wifi at room 227 we chat with staff but We could use it only 30mins then gone. Bath tub couldn’t keep water, even we changed switch lever :( "
