Bair Necessities is a beautiful property with lots of great features. The living areas and bedrooms are all very spacious and inviting. We spent lots of time playing games in the living room around the fireplace. The game room down stairs is a great feature if you have kids. Ours spent hours playing, ping pong, foosball and darts. The hot tub was a great place to relax and refresh after a couple of the challenging hikes we did in the area. The kitchen is nicely appointed with everything you need to cook a meal, whether you are cooking on the stove top, oven or using the Black Stone grill outside. We made almost every meal we ate at the property and everything we needed from, pots, pans, knives, dishes, baking sheets, and even spices were supplied.
If you're looking to eat out, Black Mountain and Old Fort both have some nice restaurants with surprisingly diverse fare. Bair Necessities has a list of restaurants in their Home Manual. The two we tried, Pure and Proper and The Bush were both excellent.
Bair Necessities definitely gives you the sense of solitude you are looking for. There are several other properties within a few hundred yards but we never heard and rarely saw any neighbors. It is quiet, peaceful and picturesque. The star gazing is top notch.
Overall I would highly recommend this property.
