"Everything about this stay was ranked 5 stars! Mark & Lisa’s Balinese styled home & garden is gorgeous & although we didn’t get to try out the pizza oven or outdoor bath (in winter), the log fire in the kitchen (which was lit before our arrival) kept us warm & cosy. It is a perfect place to return to after a day exploring around Karamea & the locals are very friendly. Communications, booking & accommodation were all PREMO! Try to stay at least 3 nights - it’s worth it! "

"We had the most restful stay in this cute retro bach. Everything we needed was provided. Adored the outdoor fire and bath. The covered outdoor eating area was perfect for rainy day dining. Extremely cosy indoors with fire. Even managed a wave from the train driver passing by!!!!!Highly recommend for a getaway. "

"Two nights family stay with 7yo daughter. Ideally placed just out of Westport with quiet setting and crystal clear night skies. We hit the weather jackpot able to walk around the property and spend some time on the sunny deck. Clean warm house and very generous hosts. Would highly recommend. "

"A lovely place to stay with a group. You could hear the waves at night and the overly friendly wekas meant you had to be careful not to leave doors open. The whole campground was well maintained and the Cow Shed cafe a delight."
