"The apartment hotel is in a tall block part of the Lille Europe complex. It was usefully right next door to the Westfield Shopping Centre and Carrefour. The staff were very nice and tolerated our attempts at French. The room was a bit tired, especially the bathroom, with the toilet discoloured with limescale and the cracked basin draining very slowly. The bed was comfortable although an extra pillow would have been useful. Ear plugs would have been useful as there was a continuous hum from the Westfield Centre air conditioning plant and noise from the station. Also the room fridge compressor was a little noisy, no problem if you were asleep but not if you were struggling to do so. Wifi was good. We didn't use the TV because it had only French language channels. The kitchen equipment is basic but functional. Overall not the best of stays but you get what you pay for. "

"Breakfast was a sham. Ran out cups and bowls. Bread bowhere near the toaster, coffee machines were also hot water machine for tea and it was slowest pouring machine that over existed. It took forever to make hot drinks and you can imagine the queue for it. Otherwise lovely stay!! But breakfast needs completely re-organising "

"The entrance to the room was dangerous. The staircase was super narrow (2 spiral flights, plus a loft), myself and my dog almost fell down. What made it worse was the automatic light would randomly shut off while traversing the stairs. Completely unacceptable and unsafe. Bathroom was dirty, trash was there when I showed up, and I believe the sheets were dirty. I ended up itching all over the next morning and may have had some allergic reaction. I couldnt wait to check out and left 3 hours early. No directions given for parking but I lucked out with free street parking and because I checked out early. Probably the worst booking I’ve ever had through Expedia, never again, nor do I recommend."

"The staff were very friendly, kind and attentive. The room (jr suite) was spacious for our family of 2 adults and 2 kids. Even the pullout couch was relatively comfortable. The hotel was undergoing some renovations but we were only there one night. The location is in the center of the town, near restaurants and shops. "
