"It's an old family ran motel. The area is sketch, but I felt safe & had no issues during my stay. Only downside, by choice, very limited English speaking by the front desk. "

"This recently updated hotel—so new you can even smell the new paint every now and then—is downright beautiful, well-appointed, clean, and spacious, with new furniture, flooring, bathrooms, etc.! And it's right in the heart of everything in downtown Oakland, just steps away from great restaurants and BART and bus connections. I will definitely stay here again!!!"
"It was perfect for one night. The room was nice and clean. We went to a soccer game at the Coliseum. We walked to the Bart to get to and from the game. "
" Very comfortable hotel, wonderful view of the Embarcadero water way & close to my job. Loved the free dinner on Wednesday nights. Excellent customer service."
"Very close to restaurants and BART station. Clean, quiet, and safe. This was my second stay. My only complaint about service is that last year, and again during my stay last week, I called for towels and after 12 hours they did not arrive. Last time I had to go to the front desk and this time I had to call again. Also, there are no fans in the bathrooms."
