Private, 1st Floor Cottage, 5 Minute Walk to Beach- Perfect for Families!

Traditional cottage charm meets modern comforts and conveniences. Located half way between the famous Pier and Ocean Park, this private retreat is just a 5 minute walk to the sand. This is the first-floor cottage of a recently fully renovated two-family home. All new Midea AC units throughout, installed July 2023 totaling 24,000 btu’s!

This cottage boasts a private deck that opens up off the living room overlooks the front yard and garden with a peek at the ocean and plenty of sunlight.

The floor plan offers an open concept kitchen, living room, dining room, and private bedrooms.

The kitchen contains all new stainless steel appliances along with plenty of cabinet space stocked with all of your needs to ensure that you can properly entertain and enjoy.

The dining area comfortably seats 6 and has partial ocean views.

The bathroom comes with its own Jacuzzi tub for relaxing as well as a flat screen TV that you can enjoy while taking a soak. No need to travel far to do laundry since the new stack-able washer and dryer are situated conveniently within.

A work station with modern desk and high-speed internet will allow you to keep in touch or get a little work done before you head to the beach for the day.

There is also a comfortable reading lounge surrounded by sun filled windows with many books to enjoy.

Two spacious air-conditioned bedrooms with closet space are offered with this rental. One bedroom offers a comfortable king bed and over-sized flat-screen TV.
The second bedroom offers a king bed and one set of bunk beds. A bonus sleeping/lounge area is set up off the living room complete with day-bed and a curtain that can be drawn for privacy when needed.

The spacious fenced-in backyard offers a private patio, along with plenty of space for entertaining. The outdoor entertainment area is complete with a propane grill and a patio table with umbrella, and seating for 6.

Two off-street parking spaces are included with this rental as well as plentiful, on-street parking.

Great week at the beach!

This is the second time my family has stayed at this property. Extremely clean and comfortable for a family of 5. The walk to the beach is quick. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great backyard for yard games with the kids. The grill and outdoor dining worked out really well. It was nice to be able to walk to the beach and to the amusement park. Comfortable seating on the couch for everyone.

OOB WAS GREAT!

Very nice newly renovated house in a nice neighborhood. Easy walk to beach and pier/town. Some lights were out and others the switches didn’t work well. Other than that, excellent.

Highly recommend

We stayed on the first floor. The accommodations were perfect. Clean, neat, comfortable. Huge, well-stocked kitchen. Short, easy walk to the beach and shopping. Highly recommend and we would stay here again.

Comfortable first floor of cotage

My family and I had a great time visiting OOB at this excellently located comfortable VRBO. The back yard was fabulous wish we had more time to hang out at grill.

Family Summer Vacation

Owner Kevin was responsive to questions and accommodating when we requested a later checkout. The living room/bonus bed area was hot when temps were 90°+. ACs are only located in the 2 bedrooms. House was comfortable when the heat wave passed. 15 mins walk to the pier and 5 mins walk to the beach. We could hear the upstairs family/children walking around, we didn’t mind as we also had small children on the trip. House was as advertised. Would stay again in the future. Great option, close to the beach.

Absolutely amazing in every single way possible!!! First time traveling far from home (Buffalo, NY) and this place was outstanding. Beautiful home that was perfect for my kiddos. Close walk to beach and stores, small diner that had the best food!! Love this place!!!

Great location

Stayed for the Ironman 70.3 race. The location was under 10-15 min walk to the beach, pier and all our race activities. Plenty of space within the home for our family of 7 adults, was nice to have the extra single bed tucked in a corner. Bought fish at The Bait Shed to grill a few nights and with the great kitchen was able to eat in most of our meals. No storage containers for leftovers, so may want to bring your own. Had a wonderful time, didn't need to contact the host as all was explained in prior email. Would stay again if back in the area.

Simply the best

We Loved our stay here! It was clean and cozy and everything you could need was provided . We walked to the beach and ate at the restaurants near by and cooked there as well! 5 stars to this property!

Nice property

Good location and very well equipped house. However, it is on a very noisy street and there’s a lot of noise coming from the unit upstairs. Other than that, the property is excellent. 3 blocks away from the beach.

COVID Escape

We stayed in the first floor of this 2 family home. It was very well equipped and located very conveniently to the beach and local attractions. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals for the entire family. The backyard was very spacious with a gas BBQ grill and outdoor seating for six. The Roku TV and internet access was great for the days we couldn't make it to the beach. The onsite washer and dryer was very convenient. The only complaint we had, was the large couch in the living room. It was old pleather and was flaking everywhere. Each time we sat down and got up it would stick to our clothes. We ended up using the extra sheets to cover the couch during the stay. Other than that, we had a great time and would consider staying here again.

Beach getaway successful!

We had a great time here. The property was just as listed, loved the backyard and things already here for kids to play with. Close walk to the beach and close by anything else we needed or wanted. Kevin was wonderful and quick to respond to any questions before we came, and we didn't need anything once we got here. We will definitely be back again! Thanks for making this little getaway possible for us!

Excellent experience, I was a first timer in OBB and with renting a vacation home, Kevin was great, very responsive, the place was perfect for us with 2 kids, good space, nice and comfortable, I will come back and I’m not looking to stay anywhere else.

Beautiful Beach home

We are originally from Maine but now live in Florida. We had to go back to Maine as my mother recently passed away. It was easier to get a house for the whole family then to do a hotel. There were 7 of us traveling, myself, hubby, adult son, adult daughter, her hubby, and two grandson's (2yrs and 4 yrs) The house fit all of us comfortably, even with just one bathroom it worked nicely. It has been beautifully remodeled. I loved all the windows and the big comfy chair for reading. Unfortunately the weather was typical of Maine and we had a lot of rainy days so I did a lot of reading. The fenced in back yard complete with outdoor toys was great for the grands, they loved it out there. Everything was very child friendly which was extremely nice, there was even a stool for them in the bathroom. :) Everything we needed was there. The only thing I found missing was a hairdryer and some more wash cloths would have been nice. You could hear the people walking around upstairs (They were there just for the week-end) but it wasn't too bad. I read some complaining about the train, yes you could hear it but it was very quick and after awhile you didn't even notice it. The boys loved running out onto the front porch to watch it. The beach is an easy walk from the house, too chilly for us to enjoy but it was close. Palace Playland and the pier was a little bit of a walk but we enjoy walking so it was fine. There is even a two seater wagon in the back yard that we used. The neighborhood seemed very nice, we never felt uncomfortable walking at night. A lot of other rentals so some times there was a lot of talking on the porches, but nothing that was a problem. We loved staying in this beautiful home!!! Thank you so much or making a difficult visit much nicer than I had imagined it would be. :)
