"Quite an exceptional, historic, hotel, right on the seafront. It is a short walk to the main train station and to the old town. There are many, many restaurants and eateries close by, and if you want an on the go snack, there are good supermarkets too We were very impressed by our room - on two levels - which had a beautiful view of the sea from the large windows and small bathroom. Everywhere was very modern, even though the hotel was a real classic. From the usb ports by the bed, to the waterfall shower, we loved the combination of old-world charm and modern convenience. We ate breakfast in the garden daily, overlooking the sea. It was delicious, varied and plentiful. Who wouldn't want hot chocolate, croissants, and fresh fruit salad or bacon, eggs, hash browns and beans, everyday? There was also an excellent selection of cheese, meat, fish, eggs and pancakes as well as a cornucopia of pastries. It was a real delight. The staff were welcoming and helpful, especially the woman from housekeeping who popped by to see if we needed anything each evening. I will definitely will stay here the next time ai am in Nice; it was exceptional. "

"Stayed for one night with my mum. Hotel is easy to get to, just a short walk from the tram stop. Great location, the promenade is about a 7 minute walk. Lots of nice bars and restaurants nearby. Hotel is nicely decorated and very modern. It was very clean and suited our needs. The room was small but had everything we needed for a one night stay. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. The hotel also looked after our luggage as we were too early to check in and the same once we had checked out. Would definitely stay again! "

"Location was great. Access to old town. Walkable to everywhere. Balcony at the hotel was beautiful. Room was spacious. Can get very loud at night if windows or doors are left open. Lots of street noise and noise from the promenade. Would certainly stay here again. For American travelers, there is no A/C."
