"My husband and I loved our two night hill country getaway. The Country Cabin had both country and luxury- with a big comfy bed and extra large bathtub. The only unfortunate thing was that the jets didn't turn on. The cabin is beautifully decorated with old- timey touches. We loved sitting on the front porch in the rocking chairs and enjoying the sounds of nature. The kitchen and food that was left for us to cook was also very convenient."

"Great little cabin on private property. No housese in site although the owners are nearby if you need them. Randy was very a great host. We enjoyed the quiet of this place. We watched deer morning and evening at the deer feeder located off the back deck. The cabin was clean and provided most everything that we needed. We look forward to coming back the next text we come to Fredericksburg."

"We very much enjoyed our stay. The house is spacious and perfect for our needs. The hot tub and pool are fantastic. The property is quiet and secluded. There were a few issues that proved to be a nuisances and could use improvement:1. There is no hot water running to any of the showers in the main house. (Guest house was fine and strangely so were sink faucets in the main house)2. The gas stovetop burners did not work. The gas was disconnected and the valve key was missing. We planned on cooking several nights so this was a serious curveball for us. Thankfully there were a few standalone electric cooktops we could plug in. Which means they know the range doesn’t work so it should probably be listed so people aren’t misled. The plugins work in a pinch but are a poor substitute. 3. The air conditioner in the guest house / gaming room has trouble keeping up in the heat of the day. It couldn’t stay below 80."

"Beautiful home with breathtaking views! The house was impeccably clean, thoughtfully furnished, and the hot tub made our stay even more relaxing. The host was wonderful—friendly, responsive, and made the booking process seamless from start to finish.What truly made this place unforgettable were the animals on the property: donkeys, llamas, turkeys, armadillos, deer, so many different colorful birds, and more. It felt peaceful, unique, and full of charm. The location was perfectly located between downtown Fredericksburg and Luckenbach, making it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer.We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to come back!"

"Location was wonderful with close proximity of five-minute drive to Old Tunnel State Park and Alamo Springs Cafe. Directions were clear and easy to follow day or night. When I passed Deer Road, there were indeed, deer. I would stay here again."
