"Our group comes to the Hill Country every spring (18th yr this trip). This place checked all the boxes of what we were looking for a weekend trip. The house was as described and better than the pictures. depict. The mesh enclosed back patio was the icing on the cake! The location between Comfort & Fredricksburg was ideal, close enough for supply run, and far enough away as to be very quiet and peaceful. We would seriously consider this spot for a return trip."

"The cabin was very cute and cozy. We loved the views!! We had a hummingbird come visit us a couple of times and we fed the deer that came up in the evening. The host had a bottle of wine, some beer, bottle water, and treats for our visit which was very sweet of them! We had a relaxing time celebrating our 35th anniversary. Thank you for hospitality and the use of your cabin!"

"We enjoyed the National Park which was great walking and exercise for us to go and listen to the birds and more. we enjoyed the Hot/Jet Tub. It rained frequently but was not too muddy. But did make the weather temp awesome. did not need much a/c with windows open to enjoy cooler air The bed was comfortable and the sheets were very smooth. Very nice touch to have breakfast foods in refrig upon arrival. Plenty of supplies: bath towels, dog towels, muddy feet towels, Only issues: as a property manager by trade, I did notice that the oven smoked when we used it The kitchen faucet leaks at handle base I do recommend a commercial outdoor/indoor entrance mat to place dog water/food on since dog water does not always stay inside the bowl… we set a towel down to help with this and always (at home too) wipe dog face after drinking. "

"Very responsive and accommodating. The property is a little worn around the edges but is still great. Hot tub was clean and hot, tent has AC/heat that both worked well. It was quiet, relaxing, and only 30 minutes from downtown Fredericksburg. Wonderful property and I’m looking forward to staying again."
