"The property was cozy, peaceful, and exactly what we needed to unwind. One of the best parts was the outdoor space. Our dog had plenty of room to run and play, which made the trip even more enjoyable for us. Everything felt comfortable and relaxing, and it truly felt like a home away from home. "The host was responsive but several key issues stood out, especially considering the premium price point for the property. Cleanliness - several of the rooms seem to have not been properly cleaned as they had many dead bugs on the floor. There was also some black mold under the sinks. Amenities - the stovetops didn't work properly which is a requirement for such a remote property. We had the maintenance come out to ensure that the property wasn't leaking gas. Some of the showers didn't get warm and the patio had a grill with no propane, so we couldn't make use of it. One of the bedrooms is so small you can't walk from one side of the bed to the other without crawling over the bed, and the soundproofing for some of the rooms is non existent where you can hear every conversation in the living area. The overall property is nice but considering the price point, the amenities felt severely uncared for and the cleanliness was sub par "

"It's a beautiful place. Just 20 minutes from Fredericksburg but it feels so remote and quiet. Half a mile from the nearest neighbour. And surrounded by wildlife. The firepit, bbq and hot tub and confortable seating are perfectly organized together."

"Our stay was great, the night sky was amazing and the place was very very clean ups in arrival. I would definitely stay again. There was very little to complain about however, outside lighting upstairs were not working. Bbq pit was also rusted at bottom. Other than those 2 things the place is amazing and again I definitely would recommend and book again. "
