"A hostel, but the only action in town! We had a private room; the view from the balcony was fabulous. Breakfast is a little lean, and the staff acts like they couldn't care less whether you're there or not. We only stayed there because we needed to catch the ferry the next morning, but I would stay again if necessary."

"Wir haben uns in diesem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und der Vermieter war freundlich und kommunikativ. Die Betten waren gut. Auch die Küche war ausreichend gut ausgestattet. Allerdings gab es leider nur eine mittelgroße Pfanne und nicht allzu viele Gläser. Der Kaminofen funktionierte sehr gut und sogar das Holz wurde zur Verfügung gestellt, so dass das Wohnzimmer jederzeit blitzschnell warm war. Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen war die Deckenhöhe. "Die Hütte hat alles was man braucht. Eine fantastische Aussicht auf den See und die Berge mit Gletscher auf der Spitze kann man von der Terasse aus genießen. In der Umgebung gibt es einiges zu entdecken wie z.B den Briksdalsbreen Gletscher oder den Skylift in Loen und einiges mehr. "This is an unbelievable property. The venue is tough to top, on a secluded bay that you feel like you have to yourself. The rooms have an authentically rustic charm and are very comfortable. The hotel's public facilities are outstanding - from the great restaurant, outdoor seating area, and sauna/spa, to the upstairs aquavit bar. That's actually my one complaint - they didn't tell us about it on checkin, and we only discovered it our last night, after it closed. We would certainly have gone there. Staff was quite helpful."
