"I know it's called a Microtel, but the room was really, really small. I paid a little extra to get a sofa in the room, but it was an uncomfortable window seat and the air conditioning unit stuck out from below it, so it was pretty much unusable except as a place to house our luggage. "Rooms were clean, though they're starting to show their age and ours had a bit of a smell. Staff were all friendly. A great spot to stay at. Easy to find and not too busy. Also, the complimentary breakfast was one of the best we've ever had."

If you're on a motorcycle trip, the most important thing is to feel that the area is safe. You don't want to come out in the morning to find your bike missing. I didn't even consider that when I pulled into the parking lot.
