"We wanted to stay near Paestum where my wife's father was during World War 2. The Expedia and hotel web site and previous reviews and pictures and views of the sea swayed us to stay here. The views were fantastic, however - Around 3pm on Wednesday Sept 18, 2013 my wife and I arrived at the Hotel Residence Le Terrazze in Agropoli, Italy. It was CLOSED!!! When I made the reservation I did note the hotel was closed from October 1 until the Spring. We were somewhat frantic being in a foreign country...

"Suite 48 was fabulously appointed and perfectly located, looking out over Vietri town and beach. A 15 minute walk to the town with lots of restaurants to choose from. Olga was the perfect host and gave us lots of tips for places to visit and eat. Definitely want to go back."

"Staff were very nice. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast included. We decided to stay a couple of extra nights and was able to upgrade to a bigger room with terrace. They were very obliging. Easy walk from train station, shops restuarants and laundromat close by. 2 minute walk to the sea front."

"I really liked this hotel, I came back for the second time again. I got here and stayed for two nights then went country hopping. Then I came back to stay here because of the friendly staff first, very clean, free parking, close to the beach, a nice pool, and the room looks very nice and neat. Highly recommended "
