"This charming cottage is right on the beach, which you will pretty much have to yourself in the early morning and evenings/nights. It was also quiet all day on the Sunday we were there. The patio is stunning. There are fantastic restaurants so close you can see them from your patio. You are about at the half-way point on the Seven Hanging Valleys Trail, an easy walk to Praia de Marinha (1/2 hour tops). We were always able to find free parking just above the cottage. "Thank you Helena, We stayed for just five nights, we needed a quiet break away and this Villa was perfect. It was very clean and tidy and the pool was wonderful. The Villa is old and rustic, authentically Portuguese with antique but adequate furniture. The kitchen is dated and unfortunately has no cupboards for food storage, just the fridge but it is clean and there is a dishwasher which is great after using the coal fired BBQ. "We had a wonderful stay - Lemon Tree Cottage is a perfect base for exploring this beautiful area. Trevor and Alicia are fantastic hosts and provided everything we could possibly need for our holiday - from towels for the pool to deck chairs and beach umbrellas and even a cool box for picnics. They live on site so are nearby to sort out any issues - particularly useful if you lock yourselves out on the first day, as we did! "We had an amazing stay in this lovely accommodation, the host Ricardo was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Ricardo made sure we had everything we had requested. The apartment had everything we needed. There is adequate storage, great pool and lovely views of the country side. The village of Algoz was only 5 minutes away, Algoz had a nice supermarket, cafe and bakery. We will definitely stay there again, location was great as it was away from the busy parts of the Algarve."
