"The hotel is designed for young families - which we are not (we were there as part of a wedding party). Even so we loved the hotel. Every single member of staff we met was cheerful and friendly. The room was lovely and the bathroom looked like it had never been used. There are loads of sunbeds around the pool area but we used the raised sun decks which was a bit quieter. Food in the main restaurant was fantastic (better than a 'luxury' adult-only hotel we stayed in this year. We never had to queue for anything. We were only there three nights but would have loved to have stayed longer to have enjoyed more of the facilities and restaurants."

"The hotel is oceanfront but there is no beach at the property. We didn’t pay much attention when booking it but the hotel provides TukTuk transportation to 3 different beaches around including Marina’s and Carvoeiro- 5 min ride which was a really good surprise. We had a car but just used to go to beaches far away and for the rest we used the TukTuk for everything since parking after certain time at the beach is very difficult. The hotel is close by to central carvoeiro where you can walk to Bonecas bar and other restaurants around. The view is amazing and experience was really great. Rooms felt a bit outdated but we were in 3 and they were able to accommodate an extra bed. Breakfast was very nice, lots of families with kids , great environment."

"Incredible property. Stunning beach with amazing lounge chairs— with availability even during peak season. Amazing breakfast. Fantastic restaurant/bar for lunch in the beach. Only downside was inconsistent and almost non-functioning housekeeping in hotel."

"Friendly, professional welcome. Excellent clean and comfy room with great views across the marina. Lovely staff at reception, in the dining room and bar, and also the boat pilot that took us to the beach. Fantastic breakfast, wonderful fresh fruit selection, and perfect piano background music. Definitely recommend."
