"What an amazing stay! The host were so friendly and breakfast was amazing. A.c in the room worked and the view was great. The room was great for two people. The hike down to town was steeo and short, it was fun for us because we are active and do it often. If you are out of shape I would not reccomend unless you are willing to drive to town or pay for a taxi. It was perfect for our short trip."

"This is a beautiful former monastery high up above Monterosso. You need to contact the hotel in advance to make a shuttle reservation and they will pick you up near the train station. The hotel also has a restaurant and bar. Most of the other guests were hikers from the trail between towns. We sat outside at sunset with a glass of wine, admiring the beautiful view. While there’s no Wi-Fi or AC in the rooms in the main building, it was very comfortable, clean and quiet. There were large windows we opened to let in the breeze. We stayed with our college age kids who loved the location."

"The property was clean, staff was extremely helpful when we needed information about ferry and bus service. Ferry to Cinque Terre is walking distance along with several bus stops to the train station. Around the corner is a handful of restaurants and cafes. A small market is close by. Hotel had a nice breakfast with light fare that included eggs, bacon, yogurt, and breads. We were pleased with our short stay. Con-there is no elevator if you have large luggage. "

"The room (Mastrale) was exceptional. It was perfect for a couple. The view was beyond compare from the large terrace. It is clean, well cared for. Paolo was welcoming, knowledgeable and helped us to plan our approach to maximize our visit. He was a pleasure to talk to and work with. Would highly recommend a stay here. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Villa Argentina. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The directions provided prior to our arrival were helpful and guided us to two elevators. The room had an immaculate view of Riomaggiore and a small balcony! The air conditioning worked well and kept the room cool. The shower was on the smaller side for my husband, who is very tall (6’4”). We would definitely stay here again—we only wish we had stayed longer!"
