The location is very close to the fortress (views from the hotel room) and the plaza. The hotel is family managed and has a cute vibe. Breakfast options are good. One small downside is the bathroom - the flush is not strong enough and a few hangers would have helped.

No hot water at all. Probably the noisiest room I’ve ever stayed in. Got zero sleep. We were told we would get a box breakfast since we were leaving at 5am for a tour but the morning staff had not been made aware and had to rush to put something together. Beds were comfortable and the room temperature was good.

We stayed at this property on our way to and from Machu Picchu, and it was an excellent choice. The hotel offers stunning views of the Ollantaytambo ruins, making the stay even more memorable. The location is one of the best in Ollantaytambo, with plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. Taxis and tuk-tuks are readily available, and the train station is just a 7-minute walk away or a quick tuk-tuk ride. The staff were warm and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was generous, and they even packed breakfast for us because we had an early train to catch, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, this hotel offers outstanding value for money and is a great base for anyone visiting Machu Picchu.

Great location. Within a short ride to train station. Walk 2 minutes to central plaza. Great views of ollataytambo ruins from our window and a quick 5 minute walk to the entrance. Fresh fruit and omelettes. Nice they also had an onsite restaurant but we didn’t get to try it

Right from the start, we were greeted amazingly! The property itself looks beautiful and clean. We had great and simple breakfasts and amazing mountains view. The staff/family will ask if you would like eggs and they make to your liking. Some friendly cats were roaming around too. It really was a pleasant experience.

Breakfast was adequate. The property was clean. We arrived back around 11pm from Machu Picchu and the entire property was locked and all the lights were turned off. It took us about 10-15 min. to find someone to let us in.
