"What an extraordinary property. This beautiful and ancient stone house in the mountains is brimming with character. The rooms are beautiful and quirky in the very best of ways. The views are dramatic and exquisite. The owners are lovely people and made us very welcome. Breakfast was a feast of lovely pastries, bread, preserves and muesli type cereals. "We stayed at this beautiful hotel for a week in June to explore the area of and around Calvi. The location was perfect, allowing us easy access to the highway, about 7 minute walk to the old part of the city and marina, as well as hiking trails right across the street that went for miles along the coast line. I cannot say enough about the kindness and friendliness of the staff. We speak very little french and the staff was so helpful explaining customs, giving advice or recommendations. At departure we were offered the chance to store our luggage and return after check out time with the option to take a shower if needed before heading back to the airport. So kind! Our room was comfortable and had a patio with an incredible view of the light house across the bay. I would not hesitate a moment to return to this wonderful, family owned little gem!"
