"The hotel rooms are being updated which it needs. While our room was ok , it definitely needs to be updated so we're looking forward to that on our next stay. That being said even while being under construction the hotel was quiet and they did an excellent job in keeping the dust and noise to the very minimum. I do want to point out how great the staff is. Very friendly and helpful. Quick to help with any needs. This was our second stay in about a 1 1/2 years and it's nice to see some of the same friendly faces."

"Staff was great. Champagne was ready for us at the front desk at check in. Made our anniversary special. Cheryl at the front desk ran out and got us slippers and robes on request. Handmade AC units gave the room a special feel (in addition to connecting with the adjacent locals down by the train tracks). Additional spoons were available for late night ice cream snacks! "

"Breakfast had a god assortment of choices including a decent steam table line. On my Monday morning, it was scrambled eggs or biscuits and gravy and sausages. Their menu board indicated a variety of other choices on other mornings."
