"This is a pretty basic hotel. It is rather new but simple. Our room 103 had no proper or enough lighting. We were unable to sleep because the room was sprayed with an extremely strong odor. Value for money is very low considering how basic and barely comfortable this place is."

"Superior room disappointing. No double bed just two singles pushed together. Shower did not regulate temperature and shower head fixing ineffective. Executive lounge 'nibbles and drinks' poor and very disappointing. Sunbeds in pool area need to be monitored to stop guests putting towels down and disappearing for hours! Sadly location very poor. Neighbourhood rundown and unsafe."

"We had a wonderful time here. The room was excellent and clean. The place at a hot tub and gym open 24 hours. It’s a short walk to the main tourist area of Athens. The staff went above and beyond to make our trip fantastic. Everyone was so friendly and they even booked us a taxi for 4:30am to get to the airport. I would highly recommend staying here. "

"We stayed at the hotel (second time now) for 3 nights. The staff as always are very friendly, polite and helpful (whether at reception, breakfast area, cleaning team etc). The general state of the room is quite "dated": A few scratches here and there, shower handle that keeps falling off the base, the bed mattress somewhat uncomfortable are some examples. Breakfast choice was good. Hotel needs some renovation to get it back to its old "glory"! Location of hotel is excellent close to Kifissia central and adjacent to Kefalari square."

"The breakfast was good, but there were a number of issues in my stay: 1. the AC didnt work in my room 2. this isnt the hotel's fault, but there were too many kids running around in the halllway and throughout the hotel. this must have been a kids field trip. maybe 50-75 kids total. they were running up and down the hallway until like 1-2 am. What is the hotel's problem is they didn't do anything about trying to keep the noise down. 3. Because it was so hot in the room combined with the noise, I got very little sleep every night I think I may have learned my lesson... I should have stayed at more expensive hotel (possibly even a chain hotel) to price out this kind of nonsense."

"Roy hotel is in a good location where từ about 1 minute walk to local bus stop snd about 8 minutes to the train station where we can get a 10 minutes ride to the central areas of Athens. There are many coffee shops around in the early morning hours ( open at 6 am)."
