"Spacious and clean rooms with beautiful water view of the strait of Juan de Fuca and Mt.Baker in the distance. Great home-base for exploring the Olympic national parks, less than a six minute drive to the visitor center. We extended our stay two nights to accommodate an injury. Very close to the Olympic Medical Center and surrounded by lots of local eateries, within walking distances. Family enjoyed walking to the Wharf for New Zealand style ice cream at Welly’s every night. We did not use restaurant or hot tub. Pool remained closed for the season. "

"Very easy check-in! The space was comfortable and cozy, and my kids had a great time. The location was also really convenient and made it easy to get around town.Cooking was a bit challenging as I couldn’t find a true liquid measuring cup or small measuring spoons. A few dishes, silverware, and cookware needed a better clean (some had oily residue or food bits). The sponge was already wet in the holder, which made me hesitant to use it. The coffee pot had used grounds left in it and some burnt coffee residue. The bathroom soap also seemed watered down and wasn’t very usable, but there was a backup under the sink.I didn’t point these things out during our stay, so they didn’t affect my family’s experience, but they did make me a bit unsure about the general cleanliness.In the end, these were relatively minor issues and didn’t impact our overall stay.The kids loved the spiral staircase and slept great on the futon! We especially appreciated being so close to family during our visit. Thank you!"

"This home is perfectly set up for 2 adults or a family of 4 with small children. It has everything you need and a detailed binder of helpful advice on what to do amd where to go. We were at the national park for most of our stay and Hope cottage was the perfect place to rest and relax for next day of adventurers! "

"Wonderful home in a great location. Close enough to the downtown area (5min drive) to work very well. There were 6 of us and we fit comfortably. Contained everything we needed. The owner communitated through the entire process making booking, preparing, checking in and checking out very easy. Would most definitely stay here again. Very much recommend it. "
