"This is the third time we have stayed at this house. The location is fabulous and the owner is very responsive to inquiries. Some of the furniture cushions could use a refresh. Our only complaint was that we were unable to control the temperature of the main level. The week we stayed was cold and rainy. Sabine turned up the temperature for us remotely, but it never seemed warm enough. The kitchen is well stocked and a washer and dryer was a plus. We love Port en Bessin and look forward to returning."

"Fantastic position, right on the harbour, with shops (bakery, fish market, small supermarket) and good restaurants all within easy walking distance. Parking was easy right outside, but we did use the garage. Further afield there was lots to see. Bayeux is close by, while we visited Arromanches-les-Bains and Pegasus Bridge, plus the German battery at Longues-sur-Mer. This was not a planned ‘D-day’ visit but it really gripped (and moved) me. "

"better than advertised…this apartment is pristinely clean, stocked with anything you might need. pretty much brand new interior. it is right on the harbor…if you can keep a day JUST for sitting at the window to watch the water go in and out, do it!almost everything for your stay is within walking distance. this village is right between omaha beach and arromanches. geraldine is a wonderfully attentive hostess. one thing: if you have an issue with stairs, this apt is up one flight of stairs, a bit narrow. "
