Charming 3-bedroom near Aksarben/Baxter Arena

Built in the 1950s, this 3-bedroom has beautiful hardwood floors and amazing natural light at all times of day. Two bedrooms are located on the main floor and each has a queen bed and closet available for use. The master bedroom is in the attic and has a king bed & 3/4 bathroom. Note: the homeowner lives in the basement and has her own entrance separate from the main floor of the house.

There is a full bathroom on the main floor along with a full kitchen, living room with TV, and dining room that seats six people. Enjoy some time outside on the front porch or back patio. The backyard is fenced and has plenty of grass for children to play on.

We are in a great location in central Omaha, walking distance to Aksarben Village which has lots of bars and restaurants, right across the street from University of Nebraska- Omaha and Elmwood Park, 5 min drive to Baxter Arena, 7 min drive to UNMC, 12 min drive to downtown Omaha, and 15 min drive to the airport.

Great place!
Place was just as good as advertised. I wish there wasn’t as much road construction in the neighborhood as some of the roads were dicey in some areas (large potholes, road falling apart) due to construction traffic. Overall, we were very pleased and would def stay again if we ever go back.

Cute little house that was prefect for out of towners attending a conference in Omaha. It was clean, quiet and a great experience. I only gave 4 stars for around the property due to over grown folige in the back, grass needed mowing and weeds in the flower beds. That would not deter me from staying again or recomending it to family or friends.

Great place to stay!
We were in town for a baseball tournament and this place was perfect. It seemed like we were always 10-20 minutes away from everything including downtown. House was clean and neighborhood was quiet and safe. I would visit Omaha again and stay in the same place.

Fantastic stay in Omaha!
We had a wonderful stay at this terrific house. Cahner was a fabulous host and made our stay very enjoyable. We stayed here as a family for our daughter’s graduation from Creighton, and it was ideal. The location is fantastic - close to everything in Aksarben and nestled in on a very quiet street. The house had everything that we needed and was incredibly charming.

Good quiet location and very comfortable beds. Warning, the upstairs is probably 7’ ceiling height with a ceiling fan - it hit my 6’4” husband mid head so we had to block that space.

Cozy Aksarben House!
The Aksarben location is midway between downtown and places to go west. Restaurants are a few blocks away - walking distance. Within blocks of Elmwood Golf Course. Quaint and quiet neighborhood. Three beds, very comfortable! One bedroom (king bed) is upstairs and with a lovely new bathroom. Summer/fall there is a great Farmers Market on Sunday mornings just a couple blocks away. Close to UNO.

Perfect location, nice neighborhood, next to Scott Campus at UNO.
We came in for the weekend to move our daughter to her dorm. It was a great location. Easily moved around Aksarben area and nice walking. Downtown is only about 10 minutes away and we tried several restaurants that all were very good within 5-10 minutes of the house. House was nicely kept up. King bed on the top floor was very comfortable. Kids were happy to have their own rooms on the main floor. There is a cute back porch we did not use but peeked at on the way out. Would stay here again.

Nice place to stay
We enjoyed our stay in this home. The neighborhood was pleasant and there is a beautiful park within walking distance. There was also a nice restaurant area including the Inner Rail Hall very close (almost walkable). The primary bedroom was upstairs and nice but a bit hot. The AC did flow up there but we had some very hot days. Overall, we would stay again.

Comfortable, Safe, Great Location
Our family of four adults stayed here for my son's wedding. It is a great, centrally located, roomy house with everything we needed. There was enough living room seating for all of us, which isn't always true. We didn't cook, but there was a large dining room table and a coffee maker with our favorite brand of coffee! A change of plans led to a request for an extra day, and Cahner responded quickly to our request, and we were able to come a day earlier than expected. The house was very clean and had nice walk-in shower and extra touches like extra towels, lotion and kleenex. The keyless entry was easy and convenient. The only minor thing I would mention is that there is only one vent in the master bedroom upstairs, and it gets a little hot, but not unbearable. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay in Omaha
Just as described. Beds were so comfortable, house was nicely decorated and little extra touches everywhere. My granddaughter & her husband loved the big bedroom upstairs, as it had plenty of room for the “Pack n’ Play” they brought and they had their own bathroom. My only suggestion would be to add a grab rail to the tub in the main floor bathroom. I’m 76, and would have really appreciated that! We had a very enjoyable stay & wish it could’ve been longer.

Bedding was so soft and comfortable, had all the amenities we needed besides a grill outside. Perfect space for all of us and had a pack n play available which was nice. The shower upstairs needed a little better cleaning but overall the house was clean and the bedding fresh!
