Let's start with the positives. The AC was very good; not a minor thing in a very hot and humid Omaha. The water pressure was excellent. The TV and WIFI were very good.
Now the flip side: The neighborhood was an issue. When we arrived there were three full garbage cans in front of the house with our unit. They weren't picked up for three days. The blackstone district might as well be in a different universe than this street.
The building housing the apartment (on the second floor of a two story home) was extremely old and poorly maintained as was the interior of the VRBO. There was an attempt to renovate it but only marginally. The furnishings (chairs, dressers etc) were the cheapest possible.
The kitchen is its own story. It had no dishwasher and was poorly equipped with the basics; especially silverware. I was pleased only to see one cockroach over our stay.
With all that said, it was adequate for a brief stay but I would never stay there again. The listing is truthful but the pictures just don't convey the reality.
