"Laura was a great host. The apartment is quite a challenge to find for the first time , she was on hand to guide us . She also spent a lot of time giving us tourist ideas of where to go and what to see , and with WhatsApp she was always on hand to answer questions. The apartment was delightful, perfect for 2 people with everything you could need in it ( UK people , remember to bring a power adaptor to convert from Euro style to UK ) . "The place had a great view but no sun on the deck (early October). The bed was a disappointment since it was a pullout sofa with 2 separate (very hard) beds. We did not realize we had to bring our own sheets and towels. Marcus arranges that we could walk to a ladies house and pay quite a bit of money to rent sheets for 3 days. (We used our beach towels and scarves instead). All instructions were in German so the pages of information sent was unreadable to us. We asked for English instructions...

"Keurig modern appartement op 10 min lopen van centrum Arona. Communicatie met de eigenaar is prettig. Buiten zitten op balkon kan zowel in de zon als onder het zonnescherm. Parkeer ruimte is gratis en voldoende aanwezig, wij konden altijd direct voor de ingang parkeren. Wat ik miste waren bier en wijnglazen, maar goed nu hebben we de limonade glazen gebruikt. "Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet (insbesondere die Küche). Der See ist in nächster Nähe und auch an Wandermöglichkeiten hapert es nicht. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und stand uns stets mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Wohnung liegt etwas versteckt zwischen anderen Häusern und ist etwas dunkel. Wer es kühl, ruhig und zurückgezogen mag ist hier genau richtig. Vielen Dank für die schöne und entspannte Zeit!"

"Such a perfect spot to land after our flight from the US to Milan. Miranda made us feel so welcome! Our son slept on the main floor, we slept upstairs. Perfect small european kitchen with everything we needed for home-cooked meals. Lovely restaurant cafe in this charming small town. We even came back for a few days' stay later during our trip, did our laundry, hung to dry on Miranda's clothesline. Really such perfect and unique spot!!"
