    Sunset Ridge - NEW LISTING in the fall of 2023!!! This cozy lower-level apartment has all you need for a short stay in the Oneonta area. Located on a hill in the countryside above Oneonta, Sunset Ridge is less than 10 minutes to the downtown shopping and restaurant district and under 15 minutes to All-Star Village. The private driveway/parking area and entrance to the apartment make this space feel very secluded. Enjoy a beautiful view of the area's rolling hills from your own covered patio. Directly across the road, in view from the patio, is a local hops and barley farm, these crops are used throughout New York State to brew beer in small craft breweries. Outside seating and dining as well as a gas grill allows for more enjoyment of the outdoors.

    Once inside there is plenty of space for your group. A large open floor plan, kitchen, dining, and living area features a pool table and desk area. Even with the open floor plan, there is still privacy within the large open area, this space is well laid out for functionality. Your host is the son of a taxidermist and there are many examples of the art throughout the space. Take a moment and see if you can identify the various species represented!

    Off the main living are and down the hallway, you will find the bathroom with a tub/shower, and the 2 bedrooms. One bedroom has a King bed and a twin, and the 2nd bedroom has a Queen bed and a twin. Each bedroom has its own SmartTv.

    If you are up for an adventure and fresh air, your host has nearly 3 miles of marked walking trails throughout the 70 acres of woods. Take a walk and enjoy allthe beauty of this hilltop location. You might even catch a glimpse of some whitetail deer or turkeys if you are quiet.

    *** Please note: Your host lives in the Main House upstairs, they are nearby if you need anything. The apartment is totally private. ***

Great place and service

Tony and Diane were great host. They were flexible and accommodating to some needs. They had lots of goodies and a neat set up, we just ran out of time and didn’t get to use some of the cool things they had. Very friendly, enjoyed the hospitality and enjoyed how they checked on us to see how things were. Nothing bad about this place and would definitely ten again if in the area. Thanks again for everything. A must stay if in the area again. Property has some cool features and some “old school” stuff that I enjoyed.

Great Quite Country Setting

Great host! Diana was in contact with us prior to arrival and greeted us when we arrived. This is a very quite setting up on a hill overlooking the valley/hops farm. Quick commute to Oneonta and some nice restaurants, we enjoyed Solan's (2x's). If your visiting for the ball games at Dreams Park, it is about a 20 minute trip. The drive through the country roads to the field was nice, along with seeing the wildlife on the way. Bring your hiking shoes and enjoy the nice trails on the property. During my morning walk I saw some deer, fox and many birds. The interior and furnishings were clean and well organized. My wife wanted to take the shower home, great pressure and really hot water. Bedroom with king bed was comfortable, my wife has a bad back and we always take the temperpedic topper with us but did not need it. The property is a sportsman's / lodge feel, don't let that deter you from the stay as it is very roomy and comfortable. Would defiantly stay here again if in the area.

Beautiful place to relax between games!

This is a perfect place to stay for Cooperstown DreamsPark. Coming in from the South makes it so much easier with traffic. The town of Oneonta is super cute with a lot of nice restaurants. We would for sure stay here again, clean and quite!!
