Peaceful Holiday Home in Texel with Terrace

The gravelled path leads you to this lodge for six people. Heavy stable doors, arched windows and old Dutch tiles combine the elements of traditional farm life with today's comforts. Beautiful wood carvings and a stately thatched roof give you an immediate impression of rural life in Texel. And then there is its unique location: in the middle of a small hamlet, with views of the dyke. At most, the peace will be disturbed by a tractor, cyclists, or a pair of geese.

The Florijn 2 is one of 4 farmhouse lodges, its entrance is the door on the far right. The lodge features a fully equipped kitchen which forms the heart of the home. The home has many authentic details, such as the bedrooms with stable windows at ankle height. Behind the French windows, you will find the 2-metre high stable doors and the cosy private terrace.

The little ones can explore the 1000 m2 large playing field with a wooden playground ship next to the terrace. You can reach the dyke with a view of the sea within 10 minutes. For a fun trip on Texel, your first choice will be the lovely village of Oosterend with its characteristic village centre (4 km).

Note for cot: bring your own bed linen for the cot in connection with safety and hygiene for the little ones.

Geweldig huisje met echt alles erop en eraan. Comfortabele bedden. Keuken goed voorzien. Heel fijn dat er ook een wasmachine/droger was. Echt heel goed bevallen. Zeker aan te raden en we komen zeker nog een keer terug!

Die Lodge war geräumig und gut gestaltet für unsere Gruppe von sechs, Wir schätzten die mehreren Schlafzimmer und Badezimmer, die unseren Aufenthalt sehr komfortabel machten, Es fühlte sich friedlich und entspannend an, mit nur dem gelegentlichen Geräusch eines vorbeifahrenden Traktors, Die Lage ist großartig zum Erkunden, mit nahegelegenen Attraktionen wie De Schorren und dem schönen Deich, der nur einen kurzen Spaziergang entfernt ist, Wenn Sie einen ruhigen Ort suchen, um sich zu erholen, während Sie in der Nähe der Natur sind, ist dies eine solide Wahl

Die FeWo war bei Ankunft nicht komplett gereinigt (volle Mülleimer, in einem Zimmer schmutziger Fußboden und vergessene Sachen von Vormietern). Sehr hellhörig, die Wände zur Nachbarwohnung sind zu dünn. Möbel haben keine Filzkleber, so dass Stühlerücken u.ä. laut schallt. Die Matratzen und die Kopfkissen sind mit einer Gummihülle versehen und dadurch sehr unbequem (Material wie bei Kindermatschhosen). Die Decken waren zu warm (eher für den Winter geeignet). Im Badezimmer (Erdgeschoss) roch es aus dem Duschabfluss nach Kanalisation, besonders an Regentagen. Alles Dinge, die den Aufenthalt weniger erholsam werden lassen und die man anders machen bzw. beheben könnte. Bei dem hohen Mietpreis könnte man etwas anderes erwarten, auch im Hinblick auf die Ausstattung.

Aangename en ruime woning. Minder warm weer dus niet veel gebruik kunnen maken van het terras en de ruime tuin. Gelukkig was er voldoende ruimte in het huisje. Alles aanwezig voor een aangenaam verblijf. Eerder aan de rustige kant van het eiland maar alles is gemakkelijk per fiets of een korte auto rit te bereiken.

Sehr schönes Appartement mit rustikal geschmackvollem Ambiente. Der Kamin verbreitete eine behagliche Wärme. Ruhig gelegen und ideal als Ausgangspunkt für Radtouren. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, selbst die Küchenmesser waren scharf. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Nice 3-bedroom apartment in old farmhouse style. We enjoyed the woodstove in particular and the quietness. Ample parking space and 10 -15 minutes drive by car to the sandy beaches and dunes on the west of Texel. By bicycle app. 10 km to multiple towns. All beds were single, regrettably no double.

Gezellig ingericht huis, grote woonkamer/keuken. Voldeed precies aan de verwachtingen. Bij aankomst een verrassingspakket op de keukentafel, erg leuk. De slaapkamers waren ruim en voorzien van goede bedden. We hebben een heerlijke midweek gehad, lekker rustig, vlak bij het strand.

Erg gezellig, aan alle praktische zaken was gedacht. Jammer dat we door de weersomstandigheden niet konden genieten van het eigen terras. Een aanrader voor iedereen die eens wil 'uitwaaien' in Texel.

Leuke woning met fijne ligging. Rustig gelegen. Keurig schoon. In de slaapkamer ontbreken nachtkastjes en in badruimte mis je aflegruimte. Verder echt een aanrader.

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich schön, aber es könnte dann doch ein wenig sauberer sein. Zu Anfang haben wir dann erst einmal Spinnennetze weggesaugt, es lagen noch Krümel auf dem Esszimmertisch und in der Fernsehecke lag auch noch einiges an Schmutz. Aber ok, das war in 10 Minuten passiert. Die Betten sind bequem, aber nach dem Abziehen der Bettwäsche sieht man dann doch, dass es das ein oder andere Maleur gegeben haben muss. Ein wenig mehr Ablagefläche im Bad wäre toll! Die Umgebung ist wirklich schön, man kann hier super Fahrrad fahren, spazieren gehen und ist auch schnell mal mit dem Auto zum einkaufen gefahren. Strand sucht man hier allerdings vergebens. Dafür hat man das Wattenmeer vor der Türe und das bietet dann doch viele tolle Eindrücke und faszinierende Momente. Ansich ein schöner Urlaub und wir kommen gerne wieder..... Ach ja, das Bergrüßungsgeschenk war wirklich super Nett und toll.

In potentie een mooi huis in mooie omgeving maar stoffig en onderhoud is matig. Kan wel een update gebruiken Badkamer is inefficiënt met gebrek aan voldoende opbergvoorziening voor 6 personen. Kledingkast voorziening algemeen op de kamers is ook matig. Wi-Fi is ronduit slecht en zwaar onvoldoende voor 6 personen.
