The Grote Geere farm, with its monumental barn, has undergone various changes / adjustments since 1670. The former farm (with a "bakkeet", wagon house and pigsty) has been converted into a holiday and apartment complex on the basis of original drawings. All accommodations are furnished with antibacterial materials. Attempts have been made to build as sustainably as possible.

The Grote Geere is best described as luxury, comfort, free location in the landscape and yet easily accessible. A great base for beach and forest, the picturesque town of Veere, the cozy Domburg or the beautiful city of Middelburg.

 Description
On the ground floor you will find an attractive living room with a beautiful view and a fully equipped open kitchen. The downstairs bedroom has a single bed, its own sink and a shower. The toilet is separated in the hall. The upstairs bedroom has two single beds, as well as a small seating area. There is also a spacious bathroom with a toilet, a sun shower, a sink and a shower. All sleeping places have box spring beds.

The former, authentic Zeeland barn offers luxury apartments. There are apartments for four people and a wheelchair-friendly apartment for six people. A cot can be placed in each apartment. There is also an outbuilding with a separate room with a washing machine and a dryer. The Grote Geere has a communal playing field and private parking. Furthermore, each apartment has its own entrance and a terrace. There is also a central, multifunctional common room that can be used to meet, play games, hold meetings or parties. Dogs are allowed after checking at our reception!

Oostkapelle is one of the larger villages in the municipality of Veere and is named after a chapel that would have stood here at some point. Oostkapelle borders two beautiful nature areas between Domburg and Vrouwenpolder: Manteling (740 hectares), a wide strip of land with dunes and forest and the Oranjezon dune area (400 hectares). There are also some country estates and the impressive castle of Westhove. The former orangery, Terra Maris, a museum of nature and landscape, is just 750 meters from the beach and has a landscaped 2.5-hectare garden. There is also a museum café and a museum shop.

The rescuers are present from May to September, operating from their first aid station.
