While you feel like you are a world away from anything in this serene location, you are only a 5-10 minute drive to the bustling town of Paihia with holiday activities, shops and restaurants.

The Property
Enter through the red door into this beautiful cottage which provides excellent accommodation for the short or long stay visitor wishing to explore the Bay of Islands and Far North region from a quiet relaxed base. The house sleeps a maximum of 4 people (Bedroom 1: King Bed with Deck Views, Bedroom 2: 2 x Single Beds).

This spotless, well-appointed home features a large kitchen and open plan living and dining which leads onto a large sunny sea facing deck. Watch the boats sail by night and day, relaxing on the deck or inside the living room on comfortable couches. Enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner with a view and the addition of a Weber BBQ outdoors means you can enjoy the classic kiwi fare too.

The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to self-cater. A full washing machine and dryer is available as well. All linen is provided for the bedrooms and bathroom.
The bathroom features a great shower with good water pressure and an internal heat pump/air conditioner keeps the temperature consistent all year round.

The Location
Island Time Cottage is located on the Opua waterfront in the Bay of Islands, The cottage is just a short walk to the wharf, general store (for food provisions), Fish and Chip shop, Opua Yacht Club, Marina, and the new Bay of Islands Swordfish Clubroom. The property is straight across the beachfront road where the start of the Opua/Paihia coastal walking track begins – an early morning ‘must do’ during your Bay of Islands holiday.

Water adventures with sailing, fishing, kayaking and parasailing nearby. Enjoy the great
outdoors with hiking, walking and cycling (part of the coast cycle trail) or just relax in this peaceful and serene spot watching the boats go by. Whatever you decide to do, Island Time Cottage makes a great base for all your Northland adventures.

Please note:
Bed linen and towels are included and cleaning of the property on departure is also included. Due to the steep location of the property we recommend this property as being best for older children and adults.

• The driveway and access from beachfront road to the cottage is quite steep, but there is street parking available if preferred.
